 The Perfect Rice Initiative is a flagship program launched by Guangzhou Hetu Biotechnology Co., Ltd, dedicated to advancing next-generation rice breeding through the integration of AI-driven genomics, gene editing, and multi-omics innovation.Its ultimate goal is to develop truly “perfect rice varieties” — advanced genetic lines engineered for comprehensive improvement across four core dimensions: Yield Enhancement, Stress & Resistance Improvement, Nutritional Enrichment  and Special Environmental Adaptability.  

Powered by the RiceDesign™ platform, Hetu Biotechnology has successfully developed the first batch of over 30 elite rice lines, marking significant breakthroughs in functional genomics and trait optimization. Continuous R&D efforts are underway to create new generations of advanced rice varieties, further expanding the diversity, resilience, and global adaptability of rice germplasm
